In order to figure out the severity of your heart disease, you must go to your doctor for a physical exam. The doctor will initially take blood tests and a chest x-ray, but there are a variety of tests that can be performed. Examples include an Electrocardiogram (ECG), a stress test, a Cardiac Computerized Tomography (CT) scan or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), a Coronary Angiogram or a Myocardial Biopsy. All of these tests are critical in order to figure out the severity of one’s heart failure.
