Director of Community Relations
Description: Create and maintain professional relationships with referral sources such as physicians, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, independent living communities, hospital personnel, case managers, discharge planners, social workers and other appropriate referral sources.
- Generate appropriate patient referrals / admissions from customers and continue to grow the number of referrals / admissions over time.
- Prioritize activities to meet monthly and quarterly growth projections.
- Serve as pivotal liaison between customers and Homewatch CareGivers staff members.
- Meet or exceed all growth and development targets and actively establish and maintain market awareness.
Requirements:
- Experience in Home Health sales with physician contacts around the North Shore suburbs and the Chicago metro area is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree, related healthcare experience and industry knowledge preferred.
- One or more years of sales experience with proven results desirable. Prior experience in healthcare setting is a plus.
- Self motivated, results-oriented person.
- Excellent verbal and presentation skills.
- Develop a sales plan and territory routing schedule.
- Work efficiently and maximize time with decision makers.
- Maintain professional image
- Produce referrals for the agency.
- Contribute to the revenue and income growth of the agency.
